Then this is for you!
The big unknown of childbirth can be overwhelming. One of the best things you can do is prepare yourself mentally and physically for your upcoming birth marathon. Walking into birth informed and confident is empowering and gives you the best chance at having a positive birth experience.
This new PregActive Birth Fit workout style has been designed to help simulate a contraction with 60 seconds of ‘work’ followed by a ‘recovery pose’ that’s designed to optimise baby position and open up your pelvic outlet ready for the big day.
Equipment recommend is a small step.
I do also recommend (after the first time you do this workout) that you add challenge by adding in some small weights. I normally recommend a set of light weights (I would use 2kg / 4.5lB).
If you do not have a small step, you can use the bottom stair of a staircase, but I do highly recommend you invest in a step like this, they are cheap and very handy to help your pelvic floor (especially postpartum) when you go to the toilet (I’ll tell you more about that later).Â
